Apply for Pow Wow Committee 2012! |
Want to be a part of one of the oldest and BEST traditions at The Florida State University? Apply to be a part of Pow Wow Committee 2012! Pow Wow is FSU's annual Homecoming pep rally and show, and has been a part of campus tradition since 1948. By applying to be a part of the Committee, you'll have a hand in the planning and execution of one of the LARGEST and MOST SPIRITED events at FSU! Past performers at Pow Wow include Craig Ferguson (2011), John Oliver and Fred Armisen (2010), Jim Gaffigan (2009), Jimmy Fallon (2008), and more! WHO'S NEXT? By being a part of Pow Wow Committee 2012, you can help decide, and put on the show! Applications are due FRIDAY, APRIL 6 at 5 p.m. electronically to powwow@admin.fsu.edu. Beyond Borders |
Go Beyond Borders this Spring Break in Jamaica or Summer in Germany or Costa Rica! Beyond Borders is a unique program offering an alternative to traditional academic study abroad programs. Participants gain a rich understanding of the local culture and make long-lasting connections through this immersion experience. Small groups of 10-12 students spend one week at the University of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica during FSU spring break; or 2 to 3 weeks after the end of spring semester at either the Technical University of Dresden, Germany; or the University of Costa Rica's branch campus in Turrialba, Costa Rica. |
